Although Joseph may be busy, he believes it is important to find time to give back and volunteer.
Immune Deficiency Foundation
Joseph has been a volunteer for the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) for approximately 8 years now. He has served as the Co-Founder of the Pie For PI Campaign, helped develop content to engage teenagers, and served as the National IDF Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency Emcee. In total, Joseph has worked to raise over $15,000 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
The Trevor Project
Joseph served as a volunteer for The Trevor Project for numerous years. The Trevor Project is a crisis hotline for LGBTQ youth ages 13-24. His experience has allowed him to learn more about mental health, the importance of self care, and how to de-escalate situations.
Coalition For Kindness
While in high school, Joseph saw a need for positive change in his community. While sitting at his desk, he envisioned a charity which spread love and showed people “It is easier to love than to hate”. Thus, he founded the Coalition For Kindness. While running the organization, Joseph has sponsored events in his high school from arranging for treats for the teachers to daily quotes of positivity over the loud speaker.
