Meet Joseph!

Joseph Maronski graduated Magna Cum Laude from High Point University with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Italian Studies and a B.A. in Political Science. He has excellent educational credentials and hands-on experience in election campaign management, event organization, customer service, and teaching.

Joseph was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate in Practical Politics by the Department of Political Science, was awarded the Outstanding Service and Wilfred Tremblay Leadership Awards by the Nido R. Qubein School of Communication, and inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.

During his time at HPU, Joseph served as an Associate Supreme Court Justice, Co-Chair for Internal Communications for the Communications Fellows Program, the Director of Multimedia and PR for the Toccatatones, and more.

He is aspiring to leverage a broad educational background and diversified experience to pursue career opportunities in the media field as an Anchor or Political Analyst. Also, he is dedicated to applying command of journalistic style writing to effectively write and edit engaging content and to communicate information to diverse audiences in ways that capture interest and provide key information.

He offers exceptional communication, social networking, and relationship building skills with a lasting passion for conducting research to bring depth to storylines and features. Joseph holds an FAA Part 107 license which allows him to fly drones commercially for companies. He is also technically proficient in MS Office, Adobe, and Google Suites.
